dial kits for my Punto Mk2 Active Sport.... I've seen a Swiss bloke doing a 'simple' 31 light swap on his Punto and it looked good, anybody bothered doing this? They were changed to blue lights btw. As far as electro luminescent dial kits, I know of companies that do them but I don't know which ones will do one for the Punto Mk2 :I

you got any links to this swiss blokes site?

i assume it was a site and you didn't go all the way to see him change some lights?

Its not hard to do.
The hardest part is finding where the bulbs are.
Take a few bulbs out, paint them in coloured glass paint, allow to dry and put back.
Continue until all the bulbs are coloured.
Job done.

As for EL Dials, do that yourself too, I am.

I've not had much success with the glass paint:

Tried to make some amber flasher bulbs, due to their extortionate cost.

Too much smoke and grief ;) It couldn't handle the heat[xx(]

You really need to use oil based glass paint, let it dry for a day, run a 12volts through it until it stops smoking, once it does the oil has cleared and you can replace into the car.

doesn't look too bad at all actually, but as i came home last night i realised that just about everything in my dashboard is red anyway!!

Yeh I've done the lights in my head unit, didn't realise it was possible to paint the lights behind the dash too. I just use neon bulb paint, looks fine usually.
