i need help identifying this camshaft and some technical info i can "borrow", im not sure what jamie said it was when i got the cinq :eek:

it a colombo & bariani , looks like this and has FF.103.280S stamped on it

and it also got some writing and numbers on the box - in italian(i think)

don't let it go too cheap its worth over £200 and they are in very short supply at the minute

i wouldnt of been able to fit it, so would have had to pay someone to do it which isnt on the list of prorities at the mo :(

the 1242 is fast enough for me :D

No it doesnt the 280 is a a far wilder cam than the 75. Yes you can have issues with emissions, as the engine is needing a higher stoichimetric value than the cat wants to see, so there is a clash of interests, run it too lean it wont run happy, run it rich enough the cat doesnt like it and neither does the mot tester. To get the best out of a 280 cam you need to invest in some head work as well, then its fantastic.
