No info pops up using the search function, so here it is. As per thread title: will 145/80R13 tires work on a Seicento S (the not lowered one) with the original 5J steel wheels? I know these have been fitted on the Elettra version and its body looks the same, but then what do I know... Reason for asking is that I need the 15 mm lift these will provide over the stock 155/65R13s.

Forgot to say, this will be sort of a cheap expedition vehicle, it will often have to leave the tarmac to go on gravel/ country roads, the occasional mud puddle, grass and mild off-road. I used to do trials with a Suzuki Samurai so have a lot of experience driving very slowly and carefully, inspecting potholes and poking mud with sticks before I go.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Circumference difference of those two tires is out of the permitted range (+/-2%), which will impact speedometer / mileage and could also impact ABS (if there's ABS on the 2002 Seicento). Then, a tire being a circle, the 145 mm tire will be the same 1,5 cm closer on each side, front and rear to the fender, which can play a role in offroad.

Those are the permitted / suggested equivalents of the standard 155/65R13 tire:

But of course they will not lift the car.

Then the minimum tire width on the 5" rim is 155, suggested is 165 - 175, maximum is 185. The internet says that despite this the Elettra rims were 5".
