Styling how to remove fuel injectors

Hi I am replacing my fuel injectors and was wondering how do you remove them and what tools are required to do so

Hang on -- the car isn't running and you're replacing the injectors?

I wonder if we're doing someone's homework for them here, folks?

Any road up. You don't need any special tools. Release the residual pressure from the fuel rail (there's a valve on the end, you can pop[ a pipe on it), undo the electrical connectors x 4, take off the fuel rail (on 16v cars you'll probably have to remove the inlet manifold first), finally, remove the retaining clip and pull the injector straight off.

the car is running but have been told to change my injectors is the fuel rail easy to remove or not

Why change the injectors? Unless they're the wrong ones, there's probably no point. Injectors themselves seldom fail.

On the 8v cars the rail is easy to get off, on the 16v cars, it's a PITA.

But, really, I can't see the point and injectors are £60 a pop.

got some nearly new 1's on ebay cheap also what tools do I need to remove fuel rail please as Me and someone else are going to fit them tommorow

On the 8v cars a socket set, on the 16v torx sockets.

I think someone has been filling your ears with horlicks, but since you won't tell why.......................

Would help if you told us what car it actually is and engine

If 8v u just need a T30 torx drive and the rest just pulls away 2 mins job...like said above with fuel pipes and wiring

it is a punto sport 16v engine
