Technical How to change a DRL (NOT the bulb)?

I did in the end as I had to remove the bumper to do other jobs on the engine. I did briefly look at doing it without removing it but it would be so difficult to get the new one back in that removing the bumper is really the only way to do it and as you say, it doesn’t take long either.

When you've had the bumper off before, it's easy to do again. The only problem I found was breaking the clips and plastic fasteners.

Being more serious, a kind mechanic once left a Snap On trim tool behind some years ago, which is helpful to say the least!

... which I will now need to use because the damn bulb's gone again. The DRLs they laughed at me!
