How do you work that out? :)

And anyway, even if you were that is more losing than winning, lol.

Ah - just read back into the thread and realised you're actually older than me - Sorry - I have just got used to being the oldest in most things I do ................ "My bad" as they say!

A bit of a classic. Had a neighbour with one for years and he ended up getting a new one. He said he preferred the old one. Nice 'complement' with the 500 but I know which one you'll be using the most.:)
SAAB's quality pre-GM was much better.
After owning an Uno, Uno Turbo i.e and a Lancia Delta HF Turbo and dealing with build problems and electrical faults, I never thought I would fall in love another Italian car!;)

I take it those cars and in particular the Lancia were back in the 80's. I knew there was some petrolhead blood in there somewhere. :) I'd imagine the Saab was in your 'sensible years'. You might be tempted into a Twin Air yet.

yes, those were the days and I got rid of the Lancia in the early 90s as I needed to be "sensible" with young ones in the family. The 93 CV (my 4th Saab) offers a less frantic drive with smooth power delivery as I had it chipped! 30% increase in bhp and Nm. I have no experience of the turbo charged Twin Air but it sounds interesting as I have always like turbos.(y)

I'm 22 and I LOVE my Fiat 500, it's just so much prettier than all the other cars on the road :) It wasn't age that surprised me with this car, it was how many men I see driving them! I thought it was a real 100% girl car, and since I've got one, about 70% of the others I see have men driving them! Not that I'm sexist, it's a great car for all ages, sexes etc. It just surprised me.

When I returned to my car in a carpark today there was a guy in his late 50's starring into my car. When I approached the car to get in he hopped into his son's modded Civic VTI and then asked me was the car mine. I said it was and then he proceeded to ask what kind of an engine was in it and also mentioned they seemed quite popular. When I gave him a little info on the car he seemed quite impressed that it packed 100bhp to match its girly looks. We had a little chat about finding some empty roads while his son left his car idling and we threw in a few words about safe driving.
My first car was a Fiat 850, then a Fiat 850 coupe then a Fiat 127 Sport. The 500s in the early 80s couldn't be trusted to get you home. The new one will.:)
