Hi
I am just waiting for my new 500. I was just wondering how old you all are. I think I am a really old owner at 51, am I right?

Im 27, but i think the 500 appeals to all ages. With the range of engine types/sizes and trim styles it can appeal to almost anyone.

I know a couple of 500 owners in their late 50's so you not the oldest. :)

Yes, we are all much MUCH younger than you.

Only joking. 43 here....

Edit: and welcome aboard.

Thanks! I was on an Alfa Mito forum before this and I felt old on there too.:p Really looking forward to the 500, but generally the owners do seem to be young.

PJ must have be quick of the mark for his 43 years age (EDIT button comes in handy!).:)
I turned 50  early on this year but I haven't grown up yet.
Bought my first 500 whilst I was still in my forties (that seems a lot time ago).
My OH has a Mito - very nice car.
I take it your buying the car for yourself.
Welcome aboard.(y)

What spec did you go for?

It's the Twin Air Plus model. I went to look at a Nissan Juke, came home with a Fiat 500.;) The Juke was ok, but looked a bit cumbersome and a bit big for what I need. Whilst the salesman was getting me some figures I walked through to the Fiat section and it was just instant! I love the little cars anyway, but this one with the dark wheels and the smart interior was just fantastic! I am always quite impulsive, but I knew straight away that I wanted it! He came back and I said forget those prices, get me a price on this! I pick it up Thursday.:)

Yes, I have had three Mito's in two years. Nice cars, but really shouldn't have got the 3rd one as I am bored with it now. I must stop buying cars so frequently, I will go bankrupt!

After reading the article in the Sunday times on the Nissan Juke if I had bought one I would hide down in the local car park...
