Hello, I want to remove the radio unit to replace it with one that works the problem is that i cant find any tutorials or schematics, the radio is an AD 182 M.

Hello,

There's one photo of the dashboard in this listing:

You can zoom it in, so you'll see that the sides of the radio part do not align with the rest of the dash and some marks around showing it was simply levered with some tool. But this has to be performed with care not to damage the dash on the sides.

Have you already got the replacement radio unit?

Hi = you'll need some removal tools shaped like these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/14464786...uid=qg72AYGTRtC&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

You insert one each side of the radio, with the longer arms to the top. Takes a little bit of trial and error but you should feel them click in place, then you can pull on the tools gently to remove the unit (you may need to assist with strategically placed fingernails, blunt tools elsewhere etc). Don't force anything as the retaining clips can get bent which then makes removal very difficult without damage.

This is what the clips on the unit look like.

The tools basically bring the top one down and the bottom one up so the unit can be slid out.
