Technical Help no dash lights and car wont start

I have had mercanic out n he z need sparky as I have no spark in spark plugs and told me possible break in ignition circuit

lol some mechanic eh ?
The lack of spark is not the problem, it is purely a symptom.
One only needs to work at kwik fit these days to call themselves a 'mechanic'
It definitely needs an auto electrician, OR a competent mechanic.

If it's what I'm thinking (immobiliser stuck on) I may b able 2 fix it myself

A lot depends on what the 'alarm' system was that was fitted, and HOW it was fitted.

Have you ever had the car in working condition with the alarm unit fitted ?

If so, would the dash lights be out if the unit was immobilised ?
