Technical Help Engine management light

We have a fiat ducato motorhome. The engine management light came on and accelerator pedal would not work initially . Eventually it did. Took it to garage and they did diagnostic check and replaced the pdf sensor and the brake switch. Three times been back. Drives back from garage ok and then next morning same problem. Any ideas please because garage doesn't!!!!

What codes have been seen? by pdf sensor do you mean DPF differential sensor.
This may be use full to help diagnose your issues

This a much bigger question than first appears. If we limit it to what is a cost effective DIY solution to "read my Fiat and simple maintenance issues eg change the oil in my euro 6 or add a new MAF sensor" then the answer for me reduces to...
