General Height of Panda owners?

The height adjuster isn't really a height adjuster, all it does is raise or lower the back of the seat base and so alters the angle of your back to your legs.

I'm 6'1", long back short legs, and have the seat base virtually all the way up as otherwise it hurts the small of my back, lowering the seat back gives a more comfortable angle with the base down but also means your lying back which is again bad for the back.

I brace my right leg against the centre console for support when cornering as the foot rest is in such a stupid position it's useless.

The car's designed to have an MPV like driving position and once you get used to it is very comfortable.

5'7'' and very comfy thanks :) My partner (5'10'') moans that the dash digs in to his left leg when he drives but he is quite a big bloke and he is used to driving a bloody Volvo S40 (or a Mercedes Actros!!!).

I'm 6'3" and have had not problems settling into my Panda.

Yes the seat is in the furthest back position but there is never really anymore than two people in the car at any one time.

I have the seat lowered as far as possible due to having a long upper body but the space on offer is great.

6ft tall with size 11 feet,no problem finding a good driving position but could do with a bit more room around the pedals.Left leg rests on the centre console but it did that on my Picasso as well

how do you think i feel 13.5 size feet and normaly where safty boots as well lol. could do with i bit more room by the pedals. :bang:

(First post, lo there)
6 foot 2 here, with wide size 11 feet and I have trouble as the posters above me have said. I kind of dive to a stop sometimes, hitting the brake and accelerator at the same time...

Is there anyone who drives a Panda that's under 6 foot tall! The Panda must be like a bloody Tardis!

I'm 6ft3 and do body building and I find the Panda more than sufficient - although my left knees clips the console and my shoulder rubs the door post. I have to have the seat on it's furthest setting so nobody but small kids can sit behind me. I would love it if the steering wheel would adjust for reach as well as that would make a truly brilliant driving position (oh and a seat that adjusts for height not just the tilt!) (y)

Hiya everyone. After an entertaining test drive at the weekend I am all but sold on one of these. However not one of the pandas at the garage had a Skydome sunroof. Being that I am 6ft 4 I am a bit concerned I wouldn't fit comfortably in it.

Is anyone my height with a Skydome in their 100hp? I quite like the idea of a sunroof but think I would rather not have a Skydome if it meant my head would constantly meet the roof!

I don't know if I have skydome or not, but in the papers it says so, anyway, it is sunroof glass panel that covers the whole roof plus you can open one part of it, the rear part is fixed and I have the seat adjusting and even when i try sitting at the top position, i don't touch the roof at all

bu the way, when i test drove panda for the first time, it seemed tiny inside as compared to my then escort, but now i don't even know i sit in a small car, i don't bump into anything and even when driving 1000 km all across Germany and Belgium, I feel no aching nowhere! wonderfully comfy, as much as escort was, but i am "only" 6.1

Just 6ft tall, I find the Panda to be quite a comfortable car to spend time in. The other car in the stable is a Suzuki Swift. One thing I don't like about the spacing in the Panda is being rather broad framed when the seats are pushed all the way back my shoulder tends to brush against the pillar that the seatbelt anchor is mounted on. Overall no complains about 'fit' related issues having driven the Panda for 3 weeks now.

Wow, lots of lanky gits driving new Pandas. I'm 6ft 5 and fit just fine. Seat is on the last notch rearwards though, and height adjsuter all the way down. Other half is 5ft 4 and keeps the height the same as me when she drives, makes for easier re-adjusting. Whereas in our Golf I have to adjust 50 things to get the seating back how I like it.

The driving position is fine, just different to other cars. Feels like a small SUV sometimes.

Only thing I'd like is a reach adjustable column. Have that in both the Golf and the TVR (which has a Focus/Mondeo steering column).
