Just had a thought. I would like to know everyone's Height who owns a Panda. The reason I ask, is that I'm 6 foot 1 and I was wondering if everyone's who's tall finds them comfortable, Also, do many of you use the seat height adjuster, thanks.

Do you find the gearstick console a problem with legroom? I've driven a Panda, but only on short journeys.

I don't know. My missus nearly has her head stuck to the windscreen when she's driving. God help her if the air bag goes off.......

Not an owner, but at 6' 4" and 16 1/2 stone I find the Panda very comfy indeed, even without height adjustment. Surprised myself the other day when I set the drivers seat and then managed to get in the back. I wouldn't want to spend too much time in that position, but I could tolerate a 20 minute journey like that (y) I can't do it in my Punto. Or my smart :D

My misses is only 5ft 4ins tall and has to sit close due to her little legs, at which point she is sat over the wheel. However, she reclines the seat quite far back so that she is at arms-length from the wheel, which she finds very comfy

Sounds like everyone's pretty happy with Fiat's little "saviour" Lets hope I don't pick up a "ringer" on Saturday.

I am 6' 1", but have quite long legs. I find that while comfortable, my left leg, just below the knee, hits the corner of the central console.

I also have a concern that the seat lacks sufficiently thick padding right at the gap where the horizontal seat meets the seat back and where your bum and the base of your spine fits. I can almost feel the metal substructure of the seat - so wonder how well that is going to wear......

Best wishes,
Woody.

Is there anyone who drives a Panda that's under 6 foot tall! The Panda must be like a bloody Tardis!

Haven't tried the Panda yet, but I'm just under 6' tall. I don't quite fit in the back of my Punto, not due to legroom, but because I have a long back. So driving I sit a bit closer to the wheel than the average for my height. I think I'm gong to have to check out a Panda before long...

I am 6 ft 1 and have no problems with my Panda. I had someone in the back who is 6ft 3 and he was fine. Wouldn't recommend this for long distances but it was definetely beter than in the back of a Corsa.

Well after finding a good seating position (Which took a few hours) I have to say I'm amazed how comfy the Panda is. I've just had 4 people in the car
(I did have to move my seat forward a little bit) with no problems.
There seems to be more room in the Panda than my old Punto. Just magic, Long live the Panda! (Now where did I put my keys, I fancy another spin)

I must be one of the shortest Panda drivers at 5'2"... Paid the extra for the height adjustable driver's seat. Suits me fine... (y)

I am 5' 8" and my wife is 4' 11". We keep the seat adjusted to it's highest setting.
We both find the car very comfortable even on long journeys but the hard plastic steering wheel can be tiring after 4 or 5 hours

I'm 5'4", SWMBO is 5'1" - what's all the fuss about? We even have plenty of room in the back. :D

As for women sitting up close to the windscreen, a driving instructor recently told me it's to get a better idea of where the bonnet ends.

Perhaps the woman who pulled out in front of me and wrote off my VFR800 last week was guilty of this....

I'm 5ft 10 and a half , but i've got some platform shoes in the loft that should just qualify me for Panda ownership.
