Question is there anything known about climate control system.
And then specifically the following the heater only gives lukewarm air. enough coolant everything sprayed through all speeds work heater valves work.

But could it be a broken sensor in the car that measures the heat in relation to the number of degrees it should be e.g. 23 but that the sensor already measures 21 at rest.

Can this be calibrated or reset.

My 500 hasn't got climate control and the heater isn't exactly hot, just takes the chill off a bit. Compared to other cars I've had which would burn your hand if you left it in front of the heater vent, the Fiat heater is crap. Though it's a small efficient engine and doesn't produce huge amounts of heat, so it's not going to get as hot as a big car, nor does it need to put out tons of heat to warm the car up.

I've a 2008 1.4 with 97k miles.
Replaced the a/c radiator and heating is toasty 😊 hot.
Could be low pressure and/or blockage. I replaced the seals at the bottom of the radiator which had corroded and in one pipe the washer was causing obstruction.

but this car just stays cold and can't be heated

read a lot that the interior sensor is not working properly or is incorrectly calibrated

you mean the heating radiator in the car itself

There's a well known fault on 500's with climate caused by the failure of a plastic rod which moves the blend door flap. The usual result is no heat.

I hope this isn't the cause of your troubles, since repairing it properly would cost several times the value of a 2008 500. A new heater box is well over a thousand euros (no separate parts are available) and the repair requires both doors to come off, along with most of the interior forward of the front seats. There is a known workaround, but very few garages know how to do this.

Go to this page, and scroll down to "Fiat 500 Climate Control System Repair"

You could try the reset procedure:

1). Switch the ignition key to on. (Do not start the engine).
2). Press and hold the AUTO and MONO buttons until numbers on the screen stop changing.
3). Release the AUTO and MONO buttons.

Do let us know how this works in a 500 2 door car 👍

is this only with manual heater. or also with Climate control system. and how to test.

Did you read the Punto 2012 information that I posted about the climate system?
yes I did that. I already replaced the air conditioning once and had the entire heater housing out. do you know how they repair it in 2 to 3 hours?
