My daughter’s car has an issue with her driver side headlight. We have checked bulb (fine) and if connector has voltage (fine). Also checked the fuse inside the car for the driver side headlight (fine). We are at a complete lose bc we assumed with voltage at the connector, we would have a headlight that works. Please help!

Yes, I took the bulb out of the drivers side and put it on the passenger side and it works great. Both bulbs are the same.

And does the passenger side bulb works on the driver's side?

EDIT: looks to me like a connector problem, the contacts are perhaps too loose or moved backwards. Can you check at the same time that the locations of the contacts is correct, nothing is loose or broken?

I thought the same thing about the connector being loose or backwards, so I made two jumpers and tried to go from connector to inside bulb, still did not light up. 🤷‍♂️

So, I'm afraid that more complex analysis is needed.

Is the car equipped with a light sensor? or some kind of automatic light switching?

to eliminate the lever...

Or have you got MultiEcuScan? you can toggle the lights on from there, bypassing the lever.

However the voltage on the connector fools me.
