Problem with my Ducato Maxi 2005 campervan.Hazard warning lights wont'turn off & I don't think its a switch problem as neither will the wipers, they keep working in all positions & won't cancel either.Has anybody any ideas ?

Sounds like a wiring issue, unless water has got in the fusebox or computer.
Has anyone been doing electrical work on the camper recently?

The vehicle will be an x244 model on which the hazard warning, and direction indicators are controlled by the Switch Control Panel (H090), which is buried in the dash behind the auxilliary switches.

The wipers are controlled by the column switch, with no obvious connection to the Switch Control Panel, and hence no obvious common factor, except connector D001A

Were both problems noticed at the same time, as this would suggest a common factor, or was one fault noticed before the other? Has the vehivle been laid up immediately before faults noticed?

Relevant annoted eLearn drawings and three of my own which may help, are attached but I am still thinking.

The van hasn't had any electrical (or mechanical) work done recently but it has been stood unused apart from running engine & moving for the tyres. It was last used 6 or 7 months ago. There were no problems then.

If the vehicle has been standing for several months, have you considered the possibility of rodent damage to the wiring?
