Technical Hard Brake Pedal/Brakes holding

Are both front brakes sticking on at same time? Strange that both calipers would have a sticky piston or that both flexi hoses would internally collapse at the same time.
Jack each side up when it happens and try to spin the wheels. If its both together id be inclined to think its a servo or abs problem.

My x244 has twin braking systems on the front wheels. If that also applies to the OP's x230, then it would be possible for a faulty master cylinder seal to affect both front wheels. I do not think that ABS was common on earlier models.

Because it is very rare and "looking" at hoses won't show anything....unless they are cut in half .

Get brakes to state of locking on .....open bleed nipple - if you get a squirt of fluid and caliper releases then you know pressure is being held in system- could be hoses or could be brake pedal being held down ( brake light switch badly adjusted?)
Could be push rod in brake servo poorly adjusted.
Took it to a 'friend if a friend' who owns his own garage, and kindly gave up two hours of his time yesterday evening. He done a few test and he diagnosed the master cylinder. So hopefully should be sorted for my Silverstone trip. Once I find one! Thanks for the advice and help guys.

Be very careful as left hand drive and right hand drive master cylinders are different.

Try brakesinternational
And coastal motor homes
