General GT rear caliper woes and queries...help :)

I picked up an offside caliper yesterday, they only had the one, I also had a nearside caliper arrive from eBay.

They are both classed as Punto GT rear calipers, but seem different! In particular, the handbrake mechanisms are in a totally different place.

Are these both GT calipers? I know the fronts changed between 94-97 and 97-99 but thought the rears were the same.

Also the eBay caliper never came with a slide! Is that typical practice as its no use without because these are for a rear disc conversion for my seicento.

Any advice or help on them??

all I can think of is buy new maybe from fiat or some motor factors it's not worth using second hand callipers they are rarely reliable

I'm using second hand punto 1.9 jtd on the fronts and they seem fine. It's all bout ££. I'd imagine a pair of gt calipers would cost a lot more than the £33 I have spent so far? Any idea of cost?

Well, after a bit more research, the calipers changed the same time the fronts changed on the gt.

The one shown on the left was the 94-97 caliper and takes this pad;



The one on the right is the 97-99 caliper and takes this pad;



Therefore I need to locate another 97-99 caliper and ditch the 94-97 caliper...waste of money
