i tried yesterday and then i get the code 7171, the problem is i don't have the button 7?

Hi, I brought my first car last month which is a Fiat Grande Punto and I have noticed that it did not come with the radio code card.

What is the radio code used for?
Would you be able to tell me my radio code so I can write it down for future Reference. If so what information do you need?

I believe that the GP radio code is stored in the car's body computer, in which case you would never need it unless the radio was fitted in another GP

If you want the code anyway, post all the numbers from the back and sides of the radio. The numbers will be of a similar format to those posted in post 1 above.
