Technical Gearbox Oil - Grande Punto

My owners manual states for the gearbox oil - Synthetic-based oil, grade SAE 75W-85 that passes API GL-4 specifications

My problem is I have purchased Halfords 75W-80 GL4

Can I use the halfords oil I have purchased or will this give me any problems I will be best to avoid ?

As long as it's a gl4 oil it will be fine
Gearboxes are less sensitive to the exact weight of oil then engine'
