General Fuel Cut-off unavailable

Hi All, got this "Fuel cut-off unavailable" on the dash and car won't start. Is there a way to trigger this switch manually or electronically using MES? Would appreciate your help. I am trying to find the physical location of the switch struggling to find it in the interweb. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Thanks KPat for your post. Great reference for the future. I tried the procedure but although it did not work for me, I had that "eureka" moment when I noticed my battery was not discharging at MAR position and figured out the earth cable is about to detach itself with a few strands of wire left....then went to Halfords and grabbed that 9inch earth cable for £2.59. Car is "purring" again! Charge to experience and hope this helps other Panda owners. Cheers!
