1. non of the ford ka's up untill now are galvonised for a start, fiat have been galvonising cars since j reg 1991 so most fords are rotten heaps even on 03/04 plates i have seen em failing mots on it shocking

surely that should still be within the bodywork warranty i wonder
2. the fact they still use the enduro e push rod engine dating back to the 1960's is in em up till 2002 plates is also shocking that really is a pile of ****e my mate has to set his tappet clearance once a month on that and the camshafts are prone to failure
3. the fact it shares much the same floor pan and suspension components of the pre historic fiesta is apauling
it's the exact equivalent of fiat using the uno floor pan to built there mk1 punto on which of course they didn't the punto was a hole new design as was the mk2 and what we have now the grande
4. in 2002 onwards there seems to be 2 different powers for the sohc 1299cc 8v engine 59 and 69 and a difference of 1 nm of tourque not entirely sure why this is it makes no sence they both have the same injection system maybe it depends on weather it was made on a Monday as opposed to a Friday lol both of those powers are a little low for a 1.3 anyway
before modern emissions dropped it to 60 fiat had 75 from a multi point 1242 8v
and they now have 70 again in the new 500 1242 8v folowing the rise to 65 in the grande punto
5. if you rev any standard ford past 6000rpm bad things happen that's a fact my other mates piston rod escaped and knocked a huge chunk out of his gearbox bell housing after the little end parted company
look see!!!
6. you can add an extra k to the end of the boot lid to give it it's proper ful name before ford started skimping on letters that's quite amusing well my mate didn't think so we did thou
7. THERE BUT UGLY

:yuck: honestly the rear looks like a nappy and the black plastic makes an amassing change to light grey in a matter of months if left in the sun
8. a mk1 1.2 8v can easily destroy a 1.3i ka on acceleration intact i'm sure a 1.1 55 could also i know it can in a seicento sporting 1.1
9. the power assisted steering models of ka have heavier steering than a non asisted mk1 punto

10. the models with solid disks have the worst brakes of any car i have ever driven and are apparently prone to overheating
11. despite what people say they do not handle well atall they have a very lose back end which may make the front end feel quite solid but is very dangerous to your average driver who does not expect a car to change ends that quick
12. they have a horrible interior more suited to a 6 year old
13. as were on the subject of interior's how about the complete lack of any room for anything in the back
look love there just s h i t e end of
