All,

I am thinking of getting a Folding bicycle, and am looking for one that fits into the boot of the 500. I don't have any showrooms near me, so am looking for assistance from others who have folding bikes.

I have seen the "official Fiat 500 Pop" folding bike as per this link http://www.northgatefiatshop.co.uk/product/500_FOLD_UP_BIKE_50906851 which is about £230. Which seems pretty cheap for folding bike (albeit with one gear)

However, I was hoping someone could share a picture of the bike in the boot. I know it will fit, but wanted to get an indication of how it looks in the flesh as it were.

Also if anyone has any other suggestions, for bikes that fit into the 500 - and pictures if possible.

Many thanks and Merry Xmas

We've got one in our showroom pal, if you can hang fire till tuesday I'll get a shot for you. As long as I get to sell you ours :)

Is £230 really cheap for a folding bike? I saw it and thought that the price was beyond a joke myself  I'm not used to pricing up bikes really...

That's pretty cheap for a folding bike, even the bike its based on costs more.

It's also less than the mountain bike I have ... which I never use!

Jesus! Anyone who rides that bike needs some help lol! They look silly!
Stick a 500 logo on a turd and some people here would buy it and then discuss how they prefer the more retro two tone turd effect of the Poop specification as opposed to the Lounge

Bump ..
Anyone have any pictures of any folding bikes in their 500?
Come on - someone must have a folding bike and a camera

Just got one yesterday and it's pretty cool. There are no gears but my 2.5 mile journey is mostly on the flat.

There are no instructions at all with the bike and it took the Fiat guy and me a while to figure out how to get the boot closed. Back at home I found an even better way. Hopefully the pics show it. You can even fit a decent size bag (I have a Lowepro wheeled camera bag and it just fits in the boot on the right hand side. There's also space for things like umbrellas (or tripods for me :) ) between bike and the bottom of the rear seats.

This is my first post so the system won't let me put up photos until I've made 5 posts. I've posted the shots to my Facebook page so I've set it as my hompepage profile. Sorry for being so convoluted about getting the pics to you but I hope it helps,

Dave

There's a Uri Geller folding bike at Mellors and Kirk Nottingham auction rooms tomorrow afternoon. It looks virtually brand new (they get quite a few deceased estate clearances)

Why not email a bid - I reckon you could get it for £50 ish

They've got a 7500 mile 2005 Clio in the sale as well (previously owned by an old lady)
