I had problems starting my van about 4 months ago and replacement of the battery did the trick. Now I use the old battery as a leisure battery in the back as it’s now a micro camper. The battery in the rear has held it’s charge for the last three months ( enough to power led lights and run a 60 watt inverter. I’m going to fit a split charger relay to my 2012 fiorino van as I’m planning a North Coast 500 run and won’t be able to charge my battery while away. My question is… does anyone see any problems fitting a split charger?
