I have a coupe 20v turbo and love the performance,gf has a jtd stilo and that is a fantastic car also. Just wondering if someone has t=dont a 20vt conversion into a stilo.

Just for intrest purposes really,i have tried to look it up and found alot have tried to turbo the 2.4 block but havent seen a 20vt conversion from a coupe yet.

Is it that difficult?
From reading many stated doing the 2.4 turbo route would required forged piston,coupe head etc.Im sure a heathy coupe engine to start would be a better base.

Understand the need to fit an intercooler somewhere and oil cooler and associated electronics. Just wondering why i cant find any on the net.

any info replie.

.s i wont be trying this myself just think a stilo turbo would be fantastic

hello to you all I am from Greece and I have an Stilo Abarth 2,4 20v I have visit your site for the first time because I was try to find if some one convers his Abarth to turbo and I find Mr DAX .
If it is posible please sent me your e-mail .
or if someone has it .

hello to you all from Greece
is anyone how now Mr Dax ?
is very inportant to speek with him because he tryed to do somethink where I am trying to do now and I finaly will done it but I want to speek with him for some special informations
I had in the past 1242cc 16v engine and I make it turbo and it was working good for 3 years in 0,7bar boost and 1 bar for more power and after this I find a nice Abart Sumacher from accident at the rear and I make my car convertion original to Abarth with everthing in the rigth position full original.
now i am trying to prodact more power from this engine and turbo is the only way.
I put:
1 BMC ear filter
2 throtle body 89mm (for quik responce)
3 full exauste with racinng cat
4 Colombo & mariany II (260 degries specialy for 2,4 20v)
5 ECU remap (very good program 7600 rpm)
and the uot power is limit 210 hp
it haw nice filing on the haiway with my GPS I have see may times 261- 263 real km but it dosen't acceleret like a turbo
that's the reson I am trying to find Mr Dax because he did it .
I read about the problem he had and for me these are not prombles

so please is someone how has his e-mail or his telefone or with ather way to fint him?

tuday I order my turbo charge
it is the Garrett GT 3071 BB AR 0,50 and 0,64 at the exaust side .
I hope that I will make more than 300 hp with 0,5 - 0,6 bar overboost
I don't want much power the only I need is torque and I want over 30 kg.

it accelerate very easy as you will see but I want more .
by the way be carefull every where there are police men waiting .

Abarth power .
when you see Abarth be carefull it has poison and it bites and
one bite is enough to bring death.
but when it wiil be turbo you will hear it as well.

You have already fitted the gearbox then with no problems? I assume your original gearbox is not the selespeed gearbox?

no my gearbox is the manual .
but in my other project all the selespeed gearbox will have two opsions
1. make it more racing with final 3,97 / 1 from 3,57 / 1
2. or make it 6 gear selespeed with it ECU controling original 6 gears
but for 1000% quarante answer please wait until I am finish this project

I think gears will not go from 1 to 2 and in the panel will apears a failure signal.

the power is now 202 hp/7100rpm on the wheels and 26,7kg/4200rpm the torque
I had a problem with police , they take my driving L . for two mounths because hit me with the radar on the hiway with 261 km/h real speed .
now I take it back and I will be good boy every day


but i can't promice this at nigth .

Happy New Year to you too! Did I read that right '...6 speed...'? Which FIAT gearbox did you fit? How easy was the swap? And can it cope with the torque of the 2.4 engine?
