Hi everyone,
I have a 2014 Fiat Punto Jet Black 2 (1.4 Petrol, 1368cc, Manual, Euro 5), and I’m facing a no-start issue. Here’s what I’ve checked so far:
Spark plugs are working fine
Fuel pump is working, fuel is coming from the pump
No fuel cut-off switch found
No fuel reaching the engine (fuel rail appears dry)
Scanned the ECU – the only error code is "Fuel Prime"
Mechanic suggested it might be an issue with the fuel system but couldn't confirm further
I’m wondering if this could be a fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, blocked injectors, or an ECU issue not commanding the injectors to open.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas on further checks I should do before bringing in an auto electrician?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
