I have a 2006 FIAT Siena 1.7TD (Palio with a boot).
What you are looking at is the mechanism that closes and opens the “flap” that allows airflow into the cabin or cuts it off.
The switch for this mechanism is located on the center console next to the air conditioner switch - see photo...

The problem I am having is that when I engage the switch, you can hear it operate, but it does not open or close.
It has become so bad now, that it does not open and stays shut all the time. You cannot manually override it too.
Can anyone advise me as to what the technical problem is? Is it electrical or is the mechanism faulty?
Kind regards
