Technical fiat master/ slave cylinder problem time after time

So here I am again without a car for work! Henlow auto services got the car in for a fourth time ( twice in last week) broke down again no clutch pedal after they said they had replaced pipe near slave ( is this the one located under battery plate holder) ? scary experience and dangerous stuck in gear looking to pull up on main road!
AA out again, found leak under battery area on road, said pipe had failed under pressure and not fitted well?? TOWED me in Dark back to garage in Henlow /BEDFORDSHIRE
Already shelled out £354 for master cylinder replacement and £240 for slave cylinder since AUGUST
What's going on any advice appreciated PLEASE , can't go on like this lost all confidence in vehicle

I'd say the garage botched the pipe replacement ( by actually trying to do it the way it's supposed to be done ) the connector in theory can be taken apart if required but only when new after 5 years it doesn't work that way and either the whole pipe needs replacing or a aftermarket connection used?

The pipe can pop out of the slave if the retaining spring clip is too splayed, e.g. if an old one is reused.
