Hi,
I try to change the slave sylinder on a 2012 model.
I have a problem that the new cylinder stamp is full out when the clucth is not push inn.

But i wounder if i have install it wron.. shall the "pole" be full out when i connect it to the fluid connector? I save some youtube movie thas som slave sylinder have some straps on .

There is a spring behind the piston, so some cylinders are secured. When you install the cylinder the push rod is full out. You place the rod in the lever that actuates the clutch and then you normaly have to push the cylinder in direction of the lever untill the bolt holes align. If that's not the case the cylinder is too short or something is wrong/broken in the clutch.
 
Hi again, Finally i get time to look at the car again. i have now removed the new slave cylinder.

Picture 1. Shall this be flexible or go back to some default position? Right now the lever is "loose"

Can anyone help with how i shall install it now?

Put the pushrod end on the clutch lever push the cylinder body against the piston and it will go in and allow the bolts to be fixed in. You have to hold the cylinder against the spring while you put the bolts back. It should not be too hard but requires a firm grip. Then refit the pipe and bleed the hydraulics.
