Hi everyone
Already had some great advice on this site for my daughters 500 Sport including links to how to change the slave cylinder!
Looked really easy, removed the battery and followed the process, retaining clip was a mare to get out but seems the pipe is stuck- just my luck!
As in other posts, there is a bit of corrosion but it just wont budge so had to put it back again.

Anyone had this issue? sprayed around the pipe so may try again but am i missing something?

thanks

Will the slave turn on the pipe once the clip removed or even with the clip on, when new it does, I suspect its just stuck
hi john- doesnt do it whether on or off - maybe ill have to keep dousing it with wd40 another couple of times!
I dont particularly want to use the new pipe as would need to cut the old one at the famous join and rejoin again mine isnt leaking but may have no choice if i cant get the pipe loose

They can be stubborn (and you'll need to clean it up for the new cylinder). If you get really stuck and your new cylinder has come with the pipe all the way to the "quick" connector (in the left hand wheelarch), you could cut out the latter (including the bit on the new pipe) and replace with one of the aftermarket compression-type fittings, which in my experience work well.

I had exactly the same issue trying to change the slave cylinder. The pipe gets fused to the slave cylinder body! Impossible to budge. If you find a way please let me know.

Side note: Found it really hard to find a reasonably priced replacement slave cylinder kit. They are either out of stock or crazy expensive. Used to be £30ish a couple of years ago! Brexit???
