Hello everyone.
I have a Euramobil motorhome based on a Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD that had a problem with the fifth gear jumping out and then never going back again.
When I took it to a mechanic to get the Fifth Gear checked they jacked it up and change to the gear oil. While they had a jacked up they wanted to check the gears were working and they started the engine and spun the wheels.
At the time the wheel was slightly turned and the wheel hit the curb and there was a large clunk sound. Since then there has been a very large wobble in the vehicle when driving, however this only happens between 30 and 40 kilometers per hour, and when you push the clutch in, the wobble stops
I have recently had the Fifth Gear replaced with another mechanic and transmission oil changed and the wobble still persists. I have moved the front wheels to the back with the thought that maybe there was an issue there but this still hasn't changed the wobble.
I wondered what your advice would be on why this wobble could occur?

It may need the wheel jacking up and turning slowly to see if a "run out" on hub caused by hitting the kerb if changing the wheel didn't fix it:(
