General Fiat bravo active playing mp3 music

Im considering buying a used fiat bravo active 1.4 but am disheartened by hearing theres no aux port etc as I have my phone plugged into my car all the time, is this true? and if so how does the basic model of the fiat bravo let you play music off a phone/mp3 player? I have a iPhone.

Not the Active.

Stick something like a Belkin transmitter in the Apple 3.5mm jack.

So there is no way of connecting with it via Bluetooth etc? And I've heard the fm transmitters are not very good, is the belkin one good?

Active models did not have the Blue and Me system as standard which provides blue tooth and the usb socket. However you can easily purchase an auxiliary cable that plugs into the rear of the stereo and has a 3.5mm jack on the other end to connect to your phone. Search this forum for aux mp3 and you will find all the information you need.

I used the Belkin in the B1 with my MP3 player. Playback via the radio was more than acceptable.
I now use a Pure Highway for DAB, also more than acceptable.
