Technical FAO Bravo owners with always-on radios!

Just chanced across a work-around to avoid the battery going flat.

If the radio won't switch off, with the car/radio on, feed it a CD and switch SRC to CD. Once it starts reading the disk switch off the car/radio. The thing will actually go silent!

Anyone got anywhere with getting this issue fixed? Mines over a year old now so no warranty on the headunit. Would have it in to be fixed but don't fancy hours of testing and diag going on my bill.

I found the when its on after you have taken the key out of the ignition just turn the ignition back on and hit the on/off volume button and this will turn it off

Mine wasn't falling for that. Today though it's started behaving itself again.

My Bravo did this when we picked it up and the dealer sorted it for us.

Theres an option in an advanced manu somewhere and you just set to whether you want it to go off or stay on.

No, it won't switch off at all... even if you press the power button in. Totally unrelated to the switching on/off with ignition setting in the menu.
