General Exhaust

Hey there people!

I am intersted to know if anyone has had their exhaust modified on their punto, and if so what did you have done, where, how much etc...?
I am considering taking mine to powerflow to get it done. Was wondering what you guys thought, or what guidiance, ideas you have?

It all depends do u like loud exhausts, my mate had a powerflow put on his corsa. He asked for moderate sound, when he got it back, it was very loud.

He had single exit with 2 oval tailpipes, I think it cost about £255, but i'm not really that sure it took about 4 hours in all the fit, u can even watch them put it on if u want

Driving home from crewe was very interesting with all the looks that he got

Got a peco system on my punto sounds good, added power an extra 500rpm power band. Also a friend of mine has a peco system also sounds good on a seicento. The sound is moderate of normal driving but if u thrash it around it can make a very loud growl

i had a powerflow cat back exhausts on mine it sounded phat but got quieter as you got higher up the revs. cost about £355 but i didn't have a powerflow made back box it was another1 they just brought in at the time. then after about 2 months i got it de catted sounded the ****** all the way through the revs and felt quicker.
powerflow also giv u a life time garentee

hi well i'm looking for a exhaust to for my punto active sport and i was wondering do i need to mod my bumper? or just have a overall exhaust in the middle? i dont wanna go through insurance aswell, if u want the sound change the backbox. Thanx

Try Longlife exhausts www.exhausts.uk.com instead of powerflow as they use a grade higher stainless steel so it will never tarnish (looks rusty) like powerflows do.
I had one fitted, very impressed with their work

I've got a centre exit back box on my new shape punto sporting. It's a jetex one and it sounds great. Had it done by Demon Tweeks in Wrexham. It's a kinda rounded off rectangle in shape and is about the size of a horizontal coke can. I highly reccommened it as something different.
