International EPIC ROADTRIP TO ITALY!! summer 2014

For such a large event seems very lax on getting things organised.

+1. Seems that way with this wee event too. I can't see this happening... unless someone takes the bull by the horns and lays it all down, NOW.

A lot of people are interested in this wee road trip... but so far we still don't know where we're going, the route we're taking, the dates we're thinking of going, costs, accomodation arrangements, ferries, etc etc etc.

I've just spent from the last 5 hours on this and route planning. We could book everything now and finalise everything this week. But without the one date we're waiting for we can't do anything.

Yes.

It could be run by anyone, why prejudice against teenagers?

Indeed, that didn't come out the way I meant it to :-/

My point being, they seems to be pretty disorganised, with not a lot of info on when the event is likely to be.... I mean, how long should we wait for them to make their minds up ? Perhaps we should just set a date, and stick with it ? Maybe make an educated guess, and if it happens to coincide with the IPM, then, awesome.

If not, it'd still be awesome.

Out of interest, what route did you come up with ?

Fair enough then. I should amend that to "it appears to be run by a group of disorganised sunseekers" :p :D *tongue firmly in cheek*

No worries, written words can be read very differently to their intention.

Rough route is HERE.

Any alterations let me know.

It incorporates:

The Abarth Works museum
Nurburgring
Stelvio Pass
International Punto Meet
Lamborghini Factory+Museum
Ferrari Museum
Lingotto (old fiat factory)
Grimsel Pass
Furka pass
Paris

Reset Active Members 2012 and 2013 Actual departure

We proceeded to "reset" the Effective Members 2012 and reactivated all those who have already paid the renewal and / or have made a new entry.
We invite all members new and old to think seriously about the registration to the Club: Club dues help to organize events such as Garda and Mirafiori, and without your help so many of the things we do during the year would not be possible!
Please refer to page explanation on how to renew -> http://www.puntoracingclub.it/index.php ... share 2013 and we remind you that this year the Social Assembly decided to maintain the quota: 10 € for the renewal of Active Members 2012 and € 15 for new members.
Thank you!

they seem a bit touchy:)
