Technical electronic key not detected

Recently I need to press the unlock/lock button several times before the doors get unlocked or locked. Also a couple of times I got the message " electronic key not detected".
The battery on the keypad is new.
What could be the problem ?

In Winter Battery voltages will struggle,

But it depends on your circumstances.
