Good Morning, I have noticed on my daughter's 2011 panda when she lowers the driver's side window, before it gets to the bottom, it makes a loud clunking noise and the same on the way up! having read a couple of previous threads already, does this mean i need to replace the following components, see attached or do i need to replace the whole mechanism? Any advice will be gratefully appreciated..

Yes just replace the clip

@irc should be able to advise you better , they changed many

There's a couple of clips it could be and they are handed, passengers side Vs drivers

Seems common I never had one go on my cars,.but then I never wind the window all the way down

thanks to everyone for your replies, i've made the decision to purchase a new OSF regulator from Partsworld and when i spoke to him he suggested they had a Fiat Approved complete unit all in for £60, can't complain really because when my daughter goes back to uni and she's 250 miles away from where we are i really cannot afford for the window mech to fail leaving her and the car vulnerable especially if it were to fail in the down position.
