Technical Crunching noise 1.1 eco

Evening

Got a crunchy noise coming from the front end. Sounds like something crunching as opose to grinding. Checked brakes and pads, and there clean.

Could it be a wheel bearing? Anyone else had a similar noise?

It's a 59 reg on 101k miles.

A video would be good

Does it alter with road speed
Does it alter with engine RPM
Does it alter clutch up Vs clutch down
Does it alter with gear or neutral
Does it alter with the Aircon if you have it
Does it alter with blower speed
Is it from the front left or right
Does it do it from cold
Does the noise alter if you dab the brakes

Nothing in the list above. Happens when on the move. More noticeable at low speeds and comes from passenger side.

You'll need to catch it happening on video, there's just not enough information here.

Did you actually take the pads out

Stone between the back plate and disk

Any play in the bearing

Any noise if you lift the wheel and spine the wheel

Does it alter if you turn left or right
