Technical ECU repair. Is it possible to DIY?

these arent repairable as its the wires thinner than a human hair that break
im sure i posted a few years ago the inside workings of these ecus
they are made on a machine that was made by dark matter.............. wales i think

Makes me wonder how these ecu companies are ""repairing them""

Or are they getting scrap units and virginising them?

Ha, in your dreams. Nasty chemicals to dissolve encapsulant, then repair of broken wirebonds. A fully auto wirebonder (not the manual ones here) will do ~10 wires every second!
