To the apropriate fitting on the inlet manifold would seem to be the obvious answer, but it seems that the early 3 litre engines did not have variable boost pressure. The diagram on page 20 of the the Fiat Training Manual (2006), which is available in the "Downloads" section, does not show any control valve. Also the ECU did not offer any control output.
