Technical Ducato 2015 2.3 comfortmatic clutch replacement

Hoping for some information regarding clutch replacement on my 2015 2.3 Ducato Comfortmatic.

Does anyone know if the robotic unit can be disconnected from the gearbox. I want to leave it in position, so that the gearbox can be removed from the engine, while I replace the clutch.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
