Technical DRL Again

My daughter has a 2012 500 lounge which keeps showing check running lights, so we've checked all bulbs front and rear but what we've noticed is
Main beam works on drl
Headlights work
Drl work
But when we turn headlights on,drl go out, is this correct?
If so then we have no side lights
Why is the check running light coming on?

Is this a light i can turn off without the use of obd tool

It should go off automatically once whatever issue caused it to come on in the first place has been dealt with. It usually works this way if you've replaced a failed bulb, for example.

If there's still an out of tolerance bulb somewhere, or some other fault that's putting the current drain of the circuit outside the expected parameters, then no tool is going to permanently put the light out until the root cause has been identified and dealt with.
