Technical DPF Multiecuscan not reading values

I think so.

They come well recommended and have done a number of Ducatos before including motorhomes so I think they’ll be ok.

As a side note, can I use mes to check the state of the injectors or is that a physical test job?
you can read correction values, but with the test at idle (as i understand it) i have not seen any results (30 engines) that fail the fiat limits (+-2). The simplest test in place is the leak off test, other than that its to the injector specialist

OK - so here's the update......

I've taken it to my local remappers and it is pretty much as expected:

They dismantled enough to confirm that the DPF has been 'gutted' previously which explains the pressure sensor difference readings being low.
They explained that to replace the now gutted dpf would take a fair number of hours and require the subframe to be removed, possibly engine removed (although this sounds unlikely) even before the cost of replacement parts.
They couldn't understand what had been mapped out with regards to the dpf, since it was still trying to frequently regen even though no longer needed.
One theory they had was that the % clogged of the dpf hadn't been zeroed so it was still trying to regen to empty it - don't know but it was a mystery.

So they re-applied their own custom map which is apparently better than the map already there at disabling the dpf checks.
Since I was paying for the full package, they also disabled the EGR (which I wasn't completely expecting), and the 50 mile run back with the van resulted in zero black smoke coming out - it used to do it at the top end of the rev range - so maybe the EGR was also blocked and causing this?

Finally they applied a Stage 1 remap taking it from 140 bhp to 170bhp which has made a good but not significant improvement in the pull of the van in fourth/fifth going up a hill.

I've re-used multiecuscan and nothing has changed - I still can't read various values which must be the map.

So all-in-all I am at least pleased I know what's going on and as someone said I'm just going to move on with it being the way it is - in an ideal world I'd get it all fixed and put back the way it should be, but the cost would probably be extremely prohibitive. Which is a shame.

Thanks again...
