Hello all,
2007 1.9MultiJet.
Bought a set off eBay, and need advise please on how/best way to get to reverse light wiring.
Any easy was other than taking the one of the rear corners off.:bang:
Oh for the '60/'70s cars where everything was sooo easy.(y)
Just fitted wind deflectors and a much quieter ride. Nice
Love the space, for my miniature steam engines, and ease of driving.
Last Fiat was an H Tipo.
This is my first power steering jobbie and first time out it reminded me of my old Zip gokart. All over the shop, but soon got used to it.
About to take the car for a spin to get exhaust temp up as I've been doing too many very shot journeys of late.
Cheers,
Geoff

Me again.
Just done the foot flat blast in the Doblo.
Got car up to temp over 5/6 miles and then floored it.
Done about 15 miles and got just short of a ton before traffic.
Peak revs about 4000 before changing.
Car feels much more responsive.(y)
Reminds me of my Anglia and Cortina GT - taking it out late at night and thrashing them, and seeing sparks out the back.
Same effect.
Regards
Geoff

they do liked to be revved these Doblos (y)
is yours the 120?

Welcome to the dobbin threads.

Wished you'd have asked on here before buying sensors - heap of poop IME.
They work down to 30cm then it's a solid beeeeep.
Reverse along somewhere with overgrown weeds etc & the things don't work properly either.
Look at a ruler, with that 30cm of free space I can get my dobbin into a gap because I have a reversing camera fitted & I can see exactly how much room I have to play with - right down to a fraction of an inch.
I wired the camera into the reversing lights on the nearside - see threads elsewhere for details of removing the lights if you're not sure & I had a thread about wiring a towbar (for which colour works the reverse lights)

Hello Rich,
Mine's the 105
Did 200 miles yesterday so exhaust to be clean now :)

Thanks sludgeguts.
Did look up the rear light bulb change but was hoping for something easier.
Will check the tow bar one.
Cheers
Geoff
