Technical Doblo cargo headlight level adjustment problem

Hoping someone might give me a place to start.My 2013 Doblo cargo just failed MOT on headlight levelling.It appears that when you press either up or down adjust button it goes straight to vans menu rather van adjusting headlights.The tyre centre that done test don’t fix things like this.Any suggestions?.Thanks for your time

Just had a quick play with my 2014 Vauxhall Combo1.3MJ (Doblo in drag)
All I did was the up and down on the dash control with headlights on without touching the menu select button and apart from the wobbly photo you may be able to see it worked fine.
So what I suspect is your centre "menu" button is sticking on. You may be able to spray it with good electrical switch cleaner and work it a few times, otherwise probably replace it.

Did you manage to find out if it was the button or something else? Went to adjust my lights tonight and found the same problem

Hi Paul.Not got to bottom of it yet.Have ordered a brand new Hazard light switch cluster from a company in ringwood( Hampshire) for around £33 all in but not received yet.Hoping it will work as it could turn into a big money job I will post results on here.Also happy to let to message you directly if you’d prefer

That would be great, hoping it is a simple fix as well as it's going in for a gearbox rebuild tomorrow as I've lost 3rd gear so could do without another expensive fix

Why Hazard light switch?
That should have no connection with the menu select button.
If anything I would have got an S/H lower switch cluster of the up and down and menu select switches.
Hazard switch is live all the time and headlight up and down menu switch etc. only with ignition on.

What I mean by hazard light switch is the whole switch cluster which encompasses menu/headlight up/down buttons etc.Just going by what it’s called by fiat shop

With you now, I take it you removed the old switch panel but were unable to get it to work using switch cleaner etc?
Personally I would have got one from a scrapyard as probably quicker, especially as same model as Vauxhall etc. so plenty about, also if faulty usually no problem getting it replaced.
I see what you mean, just had a quick flick through eBay cheapest new seems to be £71 and second hand around £24 delivered, so guessing the one you have coming is pre owned?

tried cleaning old switch but didn’t work.Found a fiat place in ringwood Hampshire that can supply a brand new one.Trouble is it comes from abroad so takes a while to arrive.

I have bought several electric window and mirror door switches from China and so far all good! Also good price.

Hi Paul.Not sure if you’ve sorted your problem but I installed new switch today and it’s working perfectly,so obviously switch had gone faulty.I bought a brand new switch/button cluster for £33 delivered from a firm in Hampshire.If you want their details let me know
