So do I need to fix the blue&me unit in order for a stage one remap for better fuel efficiency and more bhp ?

It only causes the mileage to flash and drain the battery but that's when I was a learning now I've passed I'm in the car everyday or every other day and the battery hasn't died in over six months since passing

Hello,

As far as I know, when it drains the battery it means it's no longer working. So why keeping it in a car? You'll need to leave the car undriven for a couple of days and you'll end up with a dead battery.
But in response too getting the car remapped. Since I don't know much about this topic is worth getting the blue and me fixed in order to remap the car ? Later down the line i will get the blue ans me fixed and know how too it's just finding the time and for now there really isn't many problems with that and I wouldn't use the bluetooth if it was fixed anyways and flashing milage doesn't really bother me iswell. Thanks for the response iswell

The remap writes to the Engine ECU, the ETM is linked to the Body & Dash ECU, so it shouldn't matter.

To remap they take the plugs off the Engine ECU and make their connections directly to the ECU so no other item is involved.
That's great to know, Thank-you for the response
