Hi there,
Newbie to the forum so apologies in advance if i step out of line, however here goes.
I have an issue with my 2008 MoHo in so much as recently following a long run out, we noticed both rear cameras as well as window fogged-up. When we arrived at our holiday destination, it was evident we’d been trailing a line of diesel on the road behind us. It transpired the return to tank fuel pipe has frayed, hence the continuous spill. Fiat say the part (braided rubber pipe) has been discontinued 😳
My question for the forum is, has anyone experienced this before ? and if so how did you get around it ?
Thanks in advance…

Don't have MoHo but as return pipe is low pressure it should be possible to get suitable size fuel hose from Motor Factor by the roll, plus clips to affect a permanent repair.
I had to do something similar on a Fiat Doblo van some years ago , Fiat wanted £200 for a new flow and return pair of plastic pipes, I went to Motor Factors and it cost £7.
If it is a really awkward area I am sure some one on Forum can advise.:)

Appreciate the feedback, fiat on one hand apparently want £200 something for the pipe “kit” then on the flip side say they no longer make parts for vehicles like mine over 10 years old, so i’m slightly confussed dot com 😂 I know mine’s a 2008 but still i’ll try your suggestion and buy a reel of braided rubber pipe for the job, again many thanks

As long as it is proper fuel pipe and good clips it should be fine, just check it again a few days later to make sure all dry.:)
Any chance a similar pipe used on newer models that they can still supply bits for?

My garage had it three weeks and they say they tried everywhere but couldn’t get the specific part, strange as the guy who cut the inch off to effect the tempory repair, only handed me a piece of normal rubber hose with some kind of material on the outside, certainly didn’t look specialist part 😳 will try elsewhere for a second opinion. Cheers 👍

Fuel grade usually has it written along the pipe.
