Hi everyone, I've found a coolant leak on my wifes 2018 595. About 6 weeks ago I had to top up the coolant as the temperature was high and warning on display. Since then there hasn't been anymore warnings but yesterday i went to refill the wind screen washer and noticed the expansion tank was empty again. I topped it up again today and had a good look for any leaks. When I got under the car I could see the coolant leaking and dripping. I got the timing belt and water pump replaced by Fiat Professional in August 2024. The coolant seems to be collecting ona ledge and running down the sump. I've highlighted the path of the coolant. Could this be a leaking water pump? Thanks.

@AnthonyH This video is about as far as I can get away as I was lying on the ground. I think the picture with the arrow is where the coolant is running down

It does look like the water pump seal has failed. From what you've said it sounds like the water pump still works. If you drive the car when over heated you'll blow the head gasket, so beware that

Fiat professional may do a repair under warranty, you'd have to speak to them. This isn't a job that requires a fiat specialist, so if the repair isn't free or cheap you could go elsewhere.
