Hi everyone,
is the clutch release fork for a Fiat 500 0.9 with the Selespeed robot the same as for a manual version?
I have replaced the clutch disk and could see heavy wear on the clutch fork with a perished release bearing.
Also, who has some advice on the necessity of replacing a clutch fork and if it is normal that there is some play along its long axis/shaft?

Cheers
Chris

Yes the forks are the same.

It's not unusual for the release bearings to be absolutely knackered (last one I saw had actually melted!).

A bit of polishing on the fork bearing surfaces is fine - it's cracks (leading to flex) or bend you want to look for. Mostly they can be re-used.

Play along the shaft is OK, severe perpendicular play may confuse the dualogic unit but new bearings are readily available.

One more thing would be that the release bearing doesn't really clip into place (the two tiny plastic edges under the fork) and thus is kinda loose on the shaft. Is that usual and/or maybe due to the heavy wear of the release fork?

Replace it , on the selespeed system they are under greater force and can crack
