Oldschool said:In a lot of the race applications only a few sensor are used and these engines are running perfectly well. BTW you forgot at least one sensor that is vital for the engine to run, which is the rpm sensor.
From your bold statement about the marketing crap regarding induction and exhaust the only conclusion I can draw is that you are a studying theoretic that has got no clue what the meaning of an induction/manifold, a plenum chamber and an exhaust is. Neither you seem to know what is going on in an ECU. You are mentioning the VE on a given n/a engine is greatly affected by the design of the induction/manifild, the plenum, and exhaust and has to be designed in connection with the cam.
aye?
Because im a student, you consider me to be a dumbass or somthing?
Im only sayin what i have learnt and from what i know now i wont be wasting my money on any other crap untill i have done my engine properly!
I didnt say anything about the inlet manifold, cam, etc, etc...........why would i have to?
they all effect VE as a whole if not all considerd in tuning an engine.
And as for the ECU thing, again its ********, he might as well put hin money towards a fully mappable ECU or consider installing a 5th or even 6th injector with a say a micro dynamics piggy back injector controller.
Ok, if its not all marketing crap then what is it?
