Hi Ice,

Ill try to find tehnical drawings for this Carb, in my old Fiat 128 service book - its same as yours on attached pic, but produced here in Serbia, under Weber licence (Zastava Carb. - IPM-32). I think all screws have explanation -and tehnical drawings, may be quote-screw- adjusting details. I will revert with pic tomorrow.

really useful information pdf, thanks a lot!

I've unscrewd the mixture screw to clean it and to clean inside... I wrote down the scerw turns and screwed it in with the same number of turn; anyway I think this mixture scerw is not the most important screw for basic tuning. As soon as I can attach a CO-meter I'll better adjust it

Now the carburettor is fully assembled and working in the car (panda 750 young '89 non-fire engine)... but works bad 'cause the tuning screws aren't at their right tuning :(

are you a carburettor expert?
thanks again

May be pic from that Serbian manual for 32 carb will help:

I've downloaded all images: thanks a lot!!!
these are for a weber 32 but different model from mine... inside there are little things that are different;
unfortunately I don't understand the serbian language... really a pitty 'cause thare are red numers in the photos so I think the text on url you sent me contains explanation (in serbian)

the carburettor is installed in a fiat panda mk1 1989, young model with a non-fire engine
the full carburettor serial is: weber 32ICEV/250
If you have more info please let me known

thanks!!!

Ok, Ice, - quoted web adress is for FIAT 850 owners, giving details for DIY Carb cleaning - with sodium-bicarbonate, but I have tehnical drawings for Fiat 128, Zastava Yugo, etc, which use Weber 32 ICEV same as yours. I have detailed service book (on Serbian too), but Ill try to translate schematics and drawings for you. I hope tommorow will be here

Hi Ice82!

Where are you from? 750 Young with OHV engine was not sold in UK. We have only one in polish club, so it's a rarity.
@Aca - this carb was probably used in Yugo 45.

When tuning there are three elements that need to be done at the same time. Idle adjust (so you set the distributor timing at the correct speed), Mixture and Engine (distributor).

Without doing all three at the same time it's not worth doing at all, so when you adjust one you have to adjust all three to suit.

Hi Sutjeska, yes fitted in yugo 45, yugo 55 Zastava 101, 128, Zastava Scala,Zastava Mediteran, (all with one air intake carbs) (some models have double intake airflow Weber`s). This Carb is still in production in IPM factory Belgrade, so plenty of spare parts for this Carb, even whole Carb - new is still avilable in shops -here in Belgrade.

hi Sutjeska!
I'm a 26 years old student from Italy!!!
I know that this car is a rarity, is very rare here in italy too; here 903cc fire-engine are a bit easy to find

My parents want "force" me to buy a new car but I felt so sad and I started some months ago to fully hard-repair this car.
The new steering balljonts come from UK, here in italy was too expansive for me :D
Now I'm at final stages: just reassembled the weber 32-icev original carburettor and need help for tuning it :D

WOW
here in italy the only gaskets for this carburettor costed me over 25 EUR :(

very strange situation here: you go into shop and go out with a new old-model carburettor :D
what about its price there?

Hi Alan!
My Haynes has data for 903 and 843 OHV engines only. I think 750 OHV wasn't sold in UK, but I'll check it in "Price lists" in old "Autocars" later.

Sutjeska

I checked it. In UK in May 1991 there were: 750L (Fire), 900L Dance, 1000CL, 1000S, 1000 4x4 and 1000 4x4 Sisley. Similar in 1992. I don't have data from 1993 (yet;))
In Italy in May 1991 there were: 750 Young (OHV), 750CL (Fire), 750S (Fire 5sp!), 750 Shopping, 900 New Dance, 1000CL, 1000S, 4x4 Trekking, 4x4 Sisley 2, and Elettra! Elettra was 3 times dearer than the cheapest 750 Young.
In Poland in 1991 only one Fiat dealer in Warsaw was selling Pandas - 750L and 4x4:mad: And there were about 20 sold:bang::cry:
